Members of the Ridgetop Elementary School community were among the dozens of participants who attended the Austin School District’s Community Conversation on Budget Issues, held November 12, at Anderson High School. Superintendent Dr. Meria Carstarphen and Chief Financial Officer Nicole Conley-Abram presented budget basics, and invited participants to discuss their expectations and concerns. The second Budget Conversation is scheduled for Thursday, December 3, at 6 p.m., at Travis High School. A light dinner and translation services will be provided.
